Why FireFend?
Established in 2013, FireFend is a North London-based company and are fully trained and authorised by Plumis to design, install and commission Automist fire suppression systems throughout London and the Home Counties.
FireFend is able to provide an annual service, in order to maintain your Automist® warranty.
We first became involved with Automist after one of our founders used the system in his own home. Impressed with Automist’s performance and innovation, we decided to become more involved.

What happens once you’ve decided that Automist and FireFend are for you?
Once your drawings have been submitted and FireFend have revised them, adding the preferred locations for the Automist nozzles, pumps and heat detectors, the drawings should be presented to your Building Controller in order to ensure that you are achieving their requirements .
Once satisfied, a 50% deposit is required by FireFend to proceed.
FireFend can then arrange a visit to the project to confirm that the drawings align with what is found on site and confirm that the Contractors are aware of the pre-installation requirements (as listed below.)
Your installation date can then be set.
Once your system is commissioned and further to your balance payment, Firefend provides you with a commissioning form and a warranty certificate.
In order to maintain the system warranty, we ask that your Automist system is serviced annually. This is also something that we can do for you.
